This page explains which cookies Horizons SMP uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. It applies to every page on this site.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They can keep you signed in, remember a choice, or help a site understand how it is used. Some cookies are set by us and some can be set by embedded third-party content.
This policy also covers similar browser storage used for interface preferences, such as remembering that you dismissed a notice. That storage stays in your browser and is not sent to our server with each request.
Essential cookies
These cookies are needed for the site to work or to remember your cookie choice. They are not controlled by the consent banner. You can delete them through your browser, but your saved choice may be lost.

Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic, such as which pages are viewed and how visitors reach the site. The analytics beacon is loaded only after you choose Accept all. If you choose Essential only, the beacon is not loaded. If no choice has been saved, no analytics is loaded.
Cloudflare Web Analytics is not used for advertising or to build advertising profiles. We do not set advertising cookies ourselves. Cloudflare describes Web Analytics as cookieless; the service may still process technical request data under the Cloudflare privacy policy.
Third-party embeds and services
Some pages embed YouTube videos. When an embedded player loads or plays, YouTube (Google) may set cookies or similar storage and receive technical data such as your IP address. Those cookies are controlled by Google, not by us.
Some application forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check for automated submissions. Turnstile may set cookies or similar storage and process technical data under the Cloudflare privacy policy.
Links to Folium Hosting, Ko-fi, Discord, and social profiles take you to other sites. This site does not load advertising or affiliate scripts for those links. Once you follow a link, the cookie policy of the destination site applies.
Managing cookies
You can change your choice at any time with the button below. It clears the consent cookie and reopens the banner, where you can choose again. Changing your choice removes the analytics beacon from the page and prevents it from loading on future visits. It does not remove data that was already collected.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may cause the consent banner to appear on every visit.
