The Four Combat Disciplines

• 👟 Movement Speed: Increases sprinting and walking velocity on land by up to +50% at Level 10.
• ⚔️ Attack Speed: Speeds up weapon recovery so you can strike faster with swords, axes, and maces by up to +50%.
• 🥾 Movement Efficiency: Mitigates slowdowns from cobwebs, soul sand, and sweet berry bushes by up to +50%.
• 🌊 Water Movement Efficiency: Massively boosts swim speed, underwater maneuverability, and water combat agility by up to +50%.

Leveling & Progression

• +10 Momentum XP per PvP kill.
• 20 XP per Level (2 kills per level).
• Level Cap: Level 10 (200 XP total).
• +5% stat bonus per level, reaching +50% at Level 10.

High Stakes: Deaths, Debuffs & Inactivity

• PvP Elimination: Dying to another player in fair combat resets your Level and XP to 0.
• Environmental Deaths: Dying to hazards (fall, lava, void, mobs) docks 50 XP instead of a full reset.
• The Loss Debuff: Suffering 3 consecutive deaths without landing a kill inflicts a -20% penalty for 1 hour. Landing a single PvP kill immediately cleanses the debuff!
• 24-Hour Inactivity Decay: If you go 24 hours without a PvP kill, you lose 2 Momentum levels until you claim another victory.

Apex Level 10 Perks

• 🔥 Soul-Fire Aura: Level 10 champions emit an unmistakable soul-fire particle trail.
• ⚔️ Giant Slayer Bounty: Slaying a Level 10 player yields Double XP (+20 XP) and a server-wide broadcast!
• 💥 Overdrive: Scoring kills while at Level 10 triggers an additional +10% stat boost for 60 seconds.
• 🏛️ Hall of Fame: Reaching Level 10 permanently etches your name into the server's Hall of Fame (/momentum hof).
